The American singer-songwriter and guitarist from Boston has been performing here for over 20 years—since 2019 with his quartet, Jay Ottaway and The Lost Boys, the same group with whom he recorded his last two albums. His music and songs follow the tradition of great American songwriters and bands like Dylan and The Band, Neil Young, and Tom Petty, yet possess a distinctive sound all their own. In short: if you enjoy West Coast blues and rock 'n' roll, guitar-driven arrangements, and vocal harmonies, this is the band for you. The Lost Boys have performed at numerous festivals—including Woodstock Forever, Street Life (Leverkusen), and the Grammo-Musik-Festival (Leichlingen)—and at renowned venues such as the Bielefelder Jazz Club, Speiches Rock- & Blueskneipe (Berlin), and Music Star (Norderstedt). The quartet includes Guido Lehmann, an outstanding country-rock guitarist and lap steel player who has toured Europe with bands like Hillbilly Deluxe and The Swamptones.
